The creative urge is the fire behind these beautiful pots. LeRon enjoys the feel of the clay and the satisfying opportunity to make someting out of a messy foundation. His art reflects the influence of his travels, geologic training, DNA and inspirations, some of which include Native American art, and nature. He recognizes and appreciates that creating pottery contains an element of serendipity, "you are never 100% certain how your shape and glaze will turn out, so it is a little like unwrapping a holiday present."
